FAQ
The bulk power system is a interlocking system of power lines, typically 115 kV or higher that allows for large amounts of electricity to flow from generators to consumers. Transmission lines carry bulk electricity from generating plants to areas where a considerable amount of electricity is needed. The system, similar to the Interstate Highways System, provides a high capacity and efficient path to carry electricity to where it is used the most.
