In Brooks, the project involves the construction of a new 115 kV transmission line within the existing CMP transmission line corridor that runs northwesterly for approximately 3.8 miles along the Waldo and Swanville town lines. The new 115 kV transmission line will run between the existing 345 kV line and the natural gas pipeline. The new line will run on wooden H-frame structures that will typically range between 50 and 70 feet in height, although some structures may exceed those heights in specific instances due to varying terrain and the need to achieve spans which will avoid or minimize impacts to natural resources.
