In Auburn, the project will include the construction of a new 345 kV
transmission line in the existing corridor that runs through the
southeastern portion of Auburn, bordering the Lisbon and Durham
municipal boundaries. The new line will run on double-pole H-frame
structures averaging 75 feet in height.
Additionally, the project involves a re-rate of the existing 115 kV transmission line located in the western portion of Auburn in the corridor that runs roughly along the Minot municipal border. The re-rate of this line will involve replacing select poles along the line in order to increase the line clearance in some locations.
