In Belfast, the project involves the expansion of the existing substation yard for new equipment and the construction of a new 115kV transmission line within the existing corridor. The substation expansion will create 1,307 square feet (0.3 acres) of new non-vegetated surface area. The new transmission line project will involve the installation of five transmission line poles ranging from 43 to 61 feet in height.
