In Frankfort, MPRP activities will be taking place in two corridors in the northern portion of town. One corridor, which currently houses an existing 115 kV line, runs west to east from the western Monroe Town Line to Marsh Stream and crosses following roads in Frankfort: East Main Street, Fisher Road and Marsh Stream Road. The second corridor, which currently houses an existing 345 kV line, runs north to south from the Winterport Town Line to the southern Monroe Town Line near Swanville (hereafter referred to as the Monroe-Swanville line) and crosses the following roads in Frankfort: Hamm Road, Loggin Road, Parker Lane, and Town Hill Road.
As part of the Maine Power Reliability Program, CMP proposes to construct two new transmission lines and rebuild two existing transmission lines in Frankfort:
