Contractors working on behalf of Central Maine Power Co. (CMP) are presently clearing capable vegetation (plants like trees and bushes capable of interfering with construction activities or reliability standards, or of growing to 22.5 feet or higher) in sensitive natural resource areas from the Kennebec River Crossing in Farmingdale to Monmouth.
Crews are currently clearing near Neck Road in Litchfield, but will be moving throughout this section of corridor to complete clearing prior to spring.
