The part of the program located in Washington involves work in an existing corridor that extends for approximately four miles from Hibberts Gore and Somerville easterly into Liberty. The project involves installing a new 115 kV transmission line (Section 254), alongside an existing 345 kV transmission line (Section 388). The new line will be constructed using two-pole wooden H-frames structures typically 55 feet in height.
