The project in Wells will take place entirely within the existing transmission line corridor which runs from Kennebunk to North Berwick in the western portion of town for approximately 7.3 miles. The project involves the installation of a new 345 kV transmission line, Section 3022, on the eastern side of the corridor on wooden H-frame structures averaging 75 feet in height.
