The project in Wiscasset is limited to the replacement of four transmission structures in the existing 345 kV transmission line that traverses the town from the Maine Yankee Substation in a northeasterly direction towards the former Mason Station. The new structures will be H-frame structures similar to the structures currently in this corridor.
