A work crew uses a bucket lift to access the top of a new power line, left, on Merrill Road in Greene on Wednesday. The 230-mile upgrade of transmission line, background right, is known as the Central Loop. It's part of the Maine Power Reliability Program, which is a major upgrade to Central Maine Power Co.
