Currently there are two existing 115 kV transmission lines (Section 166 and Section 167) located within the existing corridor that runs parallel to the northern border of town from the Suroweic Substation in Pownal to the southwesterly North Yarmouth town line and then turns southeast to follow the North Yarmouth town line to the Cumberland/Yarmouth municipal boundary. In this corridor, CMP will construct approximately 4.3 miles of new 345 kV transmission line, Section 3020. The new transmission line would specifically involve:
