The part of the program located in Plymouth involves work in the existing transmission line corridor that traverses the southwestern portion of the Town southeasterly for approximately 0.6 miles from Detroit into Troy. The project involves the rebuilding of the existing 115 KV transmission line and the construction of a new 345 kV transmission line.

The 115 kV line, which currently runs on H-frame structures approximately 45 feet in height on the south side of the corridor, will be moved to the north side of the corridor and placed on single-pole structures that are typically 75 feet in height. The new 345 kV transmission line will run on H-frame structures that are typically 75 feet in height and will be located on the south side of the existing corridor.

Construction has been completed in Plymouth.
