The project in South Berwick will take place entirely within the existing transmission line corridor which runs from the Wells-North Berwick border to Eliot in the western portion of town for approximately 7.0 miles. The project involves the installing a new 345 kV transmission line, Section 3022, on the eastern side of the corridor on wooden H-frame structures averaging 75 feet in height, as well as the rebuilding of the existing 115 kV transmission line Section 250 on single pole structures averaging 75 feet in height.
