Preserving Maine's Natural Resources

As part of the MPRP, Central Maine Power Company will donate 14 parcels of land totaling more than 4,800 acres to local land trusts and conservation groups.

From Kennebunk to West Forks, thousands of acres in rare species habitats, wetlands and water bodies will be protected in an effort to preserve Maine's natural resources. Many groups also received stewardship grants to make improvements to these sites that will allow Mainers to better enjoy them for generations to come.
